Case study for APCC Research

The Problem: There was a concern for how many students were attending the APCC

For years, the APCC has had a hard time getting students to attend the event. We did a research study on why that was, and how we could get students to attend. We had a hard time talking to students and faculty and collecting data.

The Solution: Gather Information from students and Faculty through focus groups

We got the opportunity to talk to multiple students and faculty members to get their perspectives on the APCC. We gathered their insights and recommendations and created a report.

Outcome: Presented our Report to the B Digital team

We presented our data and final report to the BDigital team to help them with their work for their presentation at the end of the semester.

Case Study: Social Media followers for SNG

The Problem: No social media growth for SNG Cleaning

My first “job” required me to increase their social media count. My friend started this Landscaping company and wanted help attracting growth. He hired me to run his advertisements and marketing and wanted to make sure that someone was on top of it for him.

The job was hard because he was not well known around the area. There was a lot of other competitors and they had already attracted a lot of other customers.

The Solution:  Facebook Funnel Group

After a couple of months, we came up with this idea to funnel his contact into a Facebook group. We did intense market research to learn more about the target audience the company was trying to reach. On Instagram, we realized that the feed was too messy and unprofessional. Facebook was a little bit better. We did research on relevant topics in order to post content that would be of interest to our audience.

Facebook was the best way to bring it all together. We would schedule posts to be concurrent with uploads on other social media pages. On Facebook we were able to engage the most with the audience since the page reached more people and they would comment questions.

The Outcome:

After the first six months of hardly any followers, his account took off and he was able to keep his business running. He added another aspect of his landscaping company and has seen a 53% growth rate in his customers.

Case Study for Verizon

The Problem: Verizon had a hard time making sales

People tend to not listen to new people when they are hired, and this is probably because they feel that they do not know anything yet. My second day on the job at Victra-Verizon, they were having a hard time with sales. They could not figure out a way to get more people into the store and buy phones.

The Solution: Change our pitch and make our customers feel important

I recommended that they should start pitching a different way and also add advertisements to the local social media groups. I felt on my second day that I had hear the same pitch for too long.  They did not listen to me at first, until I did it as the new guy with a nice lady who came in for some technical support. I got four phone lines out on that pitch, and ever since then they decided that it was important to listen to me.

Outcome: Had Record Sales

Store made goal for six consecutive months. Sales went up by 45%.
